Minneapolis office of BKV Group gets a team of branded-environments specialists

BKV Group, a multidisciplinary design company, has added a Branded Environments team in its Minneapolis office.
The new group will assist the firm’s national teams in creating powerful brand identities for clients who use BKV Group’s full range of design services. They will use storytelling techniques to create a consistent narrative that is carried through the built environment.
BKV Group is one the few national design firms that offers an in-house Branded Environments Unit. It is headed by Megan Van Beck (director of branded environment and associate partner) and Kristine Siiro (branded environments graphic designer), both based at the company’s Minneapolis office.
They will collaborate with BKV’s team of interior designers, landscape architects, engineers, and architects to navigate through the initial research and strategy phases. By creating brands early in the project cycle, they will be able to influence how spaces are designed, promoted, and activated upon completion.
The full-scale design approach of the team includes brand discovery, messaging, positioning, strategy, visual identity, naming, trademarking, use guidelines, and creation signage, digital, print collateral, floor plans and promotional merchandise.
Van Beck has been with BKV Group since 2011 and was previously a senior interior designer. Her experience in project management spans the residential as well as corporate and hospitality design industries. Siiro joined BKV January 2023. She previously held the position as senior graphic designer for six years. Her professional portfolio includes large-scale projects in the healthcare, retail, specialty and restaurant industries.
